Who is REDDI:  

REDDI, Regional Economic Development District Initiatives of South-Central
Pennsylvania, is one of eight Economic Development Districts (EDD) in the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a partnership originally established with eight
cities/counties that included:

  • Borough of Gettysburg / Adams County
  • City of Reading / Berks County
  • Borough of Carlisle / Cumberland County
  • City of Harrisburg / Dauphin County               
  • Borough of  Chambersburg / Franklin County
  • City of Lancaster / Lancaster County
  • City of Lebanon / Lebanon County
  • City of York /York County  

REDDI was designated an Economic Development District by the Economic
Development Administration (EDA) in 2001, and is an independent 501(c)(4) nonprofit
organization.  Its primary focus is the facilitation and conduit for EDA funding for eligible
regional projects.

REDDI targets urban and rural economic development projects with a concentration on
urban and rural distressed communities
